Carl Massy - Founder & Principle NLP Life Coach (Level 3 Coach)

Carl is a highly regarded Life Coach, fitness professional, and motivational leader who has travelled and worked all over the world. Driven by a passion to help people ‘exercise their happiness muscles’ (a term he coined while writing for a lifestyle magazine in Indonesia) he left his position as a senior consultant to the Olympic Games and dove into a mountain of books, retreats, travel and study to better understand what leads to sustained happiness and heightened well-being.

The amazing thing about Carl and his pursuit of happiness is that he actually spent the first 14 years of his working life as an Officer in the Australian Army. Not exactly where you would expect to find true happiness, but the perfect place to learn how to motivate people to do things they really didn’t want to do! A skill that he has perfected while working with a diverse range of people from all walks of life (and cultures) with all the skills they need within them, but without the Life Instruction Manual to tap into their inner greatness.

So Carl ended up on the beach of beautiful Bali in 2007, and thought he could laze his days away with a steady stream of coaching clients, various wellness retreats and fitness lead activities, but it was never going to be enough. He has so much more to give and has a burning desire to spread as much joy around the world as possible. So he packed up his deck chair, finished off his coconut drink and then set to work on coming up with the perfect formula, strategies and inbuilt redundancy to ensure that anyone, anytime and anywhere could find within them an increased sense of joy, abundance, clarity and inspiration.

So it was, amongst the rice fields of beautiful and spiritual Bali that the life-changing 30-Day Happiness Challenge and WorldsBIGGESTGym™ was born! And the rest is just history.

Ferry Tan - Creative Director

Ferry grew up in eastern Java, Indonesia, but decided that she was destined for bigger and better things. Plus she wanted to have a bigger taste of the world around her.  Being the super-focused-creative-genius that she is, it was not surprising that she got a scholarship, and completed a degree in Advertising and Graphic Design from Columbus College of Art & Design, USA (one of the top Art Colleges in the USA). Ferry was just showing off when she graduated with honours and was offered a job in the prestigious Mlicki advertising house.

After flexing her muscles in the USA for about 6 years she decided to return to Indonesia to establish a successful branding, interior and furniture design manufacturer in Java. But driven by a constant desire for new and empowering challenges, Ferry moved to Bali to establish White Whale Media Group; a publishing company that launched two successful magazines, one of which was distributed internationally within Asia.

Did we already say that Ferry has a desire for new and exciting challenges? I think so. So after reading the book by Timothy Ferriss called ‘The 4-Hour Work Week’ Ferry launched her latest business Invisible Resources, which is an outsourcing portal for entrepreneurs, and the outsourcing provider for the WorldsBIGGESTGym.

Kellie Mikulec (Level 1 Coach)

I have worked in a range of jobs and all of them have been interactive with lots of clients and customers. I have always enjoyed getting to know them and listen to their stories. I have never settled for sit down jobs, but always making whatever role I had, both active and physical. Whether it was starting from the bottom on day one, to making my way through supervisory and then to managerial positions. My work was always about being active and actively engaging with people.

I have an open minded outlook on just about everything and have an incredible ability to laugh at myself. Which is an absolute must when you are raising your children by yourself! It is my laughter that gets me through those inevitably tough days, that we all have. (I am sure that you know what I mean ;-))

I have come to realise that I have no regrets in life. That everything that has happened - whether I labelled it good or bad at the time - has shaped me into the caring and competent person that I am today. So even though it sometimes hurt, I like to smile and say 'thank you' for the challenges I have been given.

So now I look forward to helping you through any challenges and seeing them more as the stuff that shapes you rather than the stuff that breaks you. And we might even have a laugh along the way. ;-)

Brandon Leaning (Level 1 Coach)

I have always loved being physically active and spent the vast majority of my spare time growing up playing sport or getting into the great outdoors.

A typical day involved cycling 15 or more kilometres to and from school, playing football during my breaks, hitting the gym, playing after school sport and then two hours of Tae Kwon Do in the evenings. Then the weekends were spent either camping or hiking. So moving into the Health and Fitness Industry was just a natural progression.

One of my greatest success as a Personal Trainer happened when I coached one of my clients through an accelerated 8-week training program to lose 4 kilos. At the end of those 8 weeks she had lost not only her target weight but a total of 16 kg and had more energy and enthusiasm for life than ever before.

The most important thing that I learnt from this experinece is that where there is a will, there will always be a way. There are never just problems, but an opportunity to find new and exciting solutions to the hurdles in life.

Ben Webster (Level 1 Coach)

You can take the boy from the country but you can’t take the country from the boy. Having grown up on a farm I have a love for the outdoors and wide open spaces. Sport has always been a part of my life and was put on hold as I followed a management career in hospitality. Then opportunity knocked and I was able to start my own Personal Training business. Now I’m working in an industry where every day I can change someone’s life for the better. Fitness is my passion and i enjoy seeing how much joy it brings people to reach their health and fitness goals.

One of my fondest memories and greatest achievements was entering a client of mine in FENIX Fitness Geelong's Transformation Challenge. We trained extremely hard for the 12 weeks and in the end my client was able to shed 28kg of body weight. We went to the National presentation night and he was announced the Grand Champion! He won himself a cool $5000 for all of his hard work and I won a head full of knowledge and experience in how to make huge changes in peoples lives.

Part of my master plan is to be Coaching clients all over the world as I travel all over the world and maybe even write a book while I am exploring the four corners of the globe. Plus breaking bread with all my international clients, as I pass through their home countries.

Ben's private Personal Training Business is Fubar Personal Training.

Alex Aiden (Level 1 Coach)

Since creating my own life changing experience and entering into recovery, I decided to pursue a career in Life Coaching, which will give me the opportunity to support people going through the process that I essentially went through myself. I know how hard it can be, so I want to help people not only succeed in 'recovery' but really start to have deep and lasting meaning in their life.

As I have always been interested in physical fitness and know how valuable it is for good health, increased energy and decreased stress, I decided to study and attain a Diploma in Personal (Fitness) Training.  Adding onto that was the burning desire to learn the additional skills - as a Life Coach - that can truly help clients with alcohol related problems, especially in the recovery phase,  at an emotional level as well as on a physical level.

I believe it's never too late to turn your life around and with my experience, knowledge and skills I can help others find true meaning in their life and become the best they can possibly be.
